What is the difference between 10k,14k and 18k gold?
10K gold is made up of 41.7% gold and 58.3% alloy. Is the minimum amount of gold a piece can contain and be labeled as gold jewelry. Is the least pure, least expensive, and most durable form of gold used in jewelry. It's less likely to bend, scratch, warp and/or become dented due to pressure or impact. Looks less yellow due to its lower gold content. However, this difference is not that pronounced, and most people cannot tell 10K from 14K jewelry just by looking at its color.
14K gold is made up of 58.3% and 41.7% alloy. It has a rich color but slightly less saturated and intense than 18K. Compared to 18K gold, the main advantages of 14K is its durability and affordability. Jewelry made using 14K are significantly more durable than those made with 18K, making this type of gold a good choice if you're concerned about scuffs and scratches.
18K gold is made up of 75% gold and 25% alloy. It has a rich, yellow appearance and looks fantastic. Since it is quite pure, is fairly easy to scratch. Significantly more expensive than 10K and 14K.
What forms of payments do you accept?
We use PayPal as our credit card merchant and you do not need to have or open an account to complete your payment via PayPal. Here are some of the forms of payment we accept.

What is the processing time after I place my order?
Typically from payment to receipt of package can take anywhere from 2-4 months (this is not a guarantee but an estimate)*. Processing time may be affected by our volume of orders, heavy seasons, and/or payment delays. The completion time starts once payment has cleared, typically 2-3 business days but in the case of e-check, it can take 5-7 business days. If you have a special order like 18k, white/rose gold, tri-color, square design, diamonds, etc...the turnaround time may be more.
* Please keep in mind that this is an estimate time of completion; therefore, we cannot guarantee that your order will be completed in the given time as these are handmade products and many things can happen that will delay the manufacturing process.
Do you collect sales tax?
A 7% sales tax will be collected if you reside in the state of Florida (no exceptions).
How do you ship your products?
Our products are shipped via Fed-Ex 2nd Day Air with full insurance and signature confirmation at no extra cost to you, the consumer (USA customers only). Free shipping does not apply to international orders. When receiving our product, an adult has to be present to sign for the package or it will be return back to FedEx HUB and kept there for up to five (5) business days before is returned back to us. We do not leave packages at the door. This is to protect both our business and the customer. We will not ship to an address different from your billing address or the shipping address you provided PayPal at time of payment. You're encourage to pick up your product in person by providing a photo ID and purchase receipt.
For international customers, the shipping charge is $75 and we cover the rest. The customer is also responsible for paying for duties and taxes once package reaches it's destination.
NOTE: We don't ship products on Friday's for security reasons. If you want to pay for Saturday delivery, we will be very happy to ship your product on a Friday for Saturday delivery.
Can I still cancel/change my custom order?
The answer is yes, as long as you cancel/change your custom order before we start production. Once production has started on your order, we will no longer accept changes and/or cancellations. If your order is in progress and you decide to cancel it, a 15% re-stocking fee will be applied to your refundable balance.
What is your return/refund policy?
Customer satisfaction is the pinnacle of our business. We offer a 7 days refund on our items, minus a 15% restocking fee (some exceptions apply*). To receive a refund, products must be unaltered, undamaged, and packed securely. If after inspecting the returned piece, we find that the product has been altered, intentionally damaged, or scratched from poor packaging, refunds will be denied and your piece will be sent back. If after inspecting the product, we determine that is in perfect condition, we will apply the 15% restocking fee and process your refund. Please allow 5-10 business days for funds to be back in your account. Shipping charges and/or special customization* (engraving of any kind, special lock fee, diamonds, etc...) are non-refundable.
Typical timeline for refunds:
Customer lets us know they would like a refund within a 7-day period of receiving product.
Acknowledgement of return by CMG LINKS
Customer packages the jewelry safely and sends it back via courier and fully insured to retail value, and package sent with signature confirmation. Customer is responsible for the cost of sending the piece back to CMG LINKS.
Once package is received at CMG LINKS headquarters, our jeweler inspects the piece for any damage and/or alterations of any kind.
If the piece gets approved by the jeweler, refund takes place.
* Customized items include: 18k, 22k, & 24k yellow, rose, & white gold - any SQUARE Style Cuban link - ID Bracelets - 2 tone & Tri Color Gold - Engraving (laser/raised) - custom locks (flip-over, lobsters, etc.) - pieces set with diamonds or any other special setting - customized pieces (pendants, ID's, etc.)
Are your products real Gold?
Absolutely Yes! We only manufacture our chains and jewelry using 100% real gold. We do not sell or manufacture anything gold plated or any of that cheap stuff you see advertised on the internet. Our products are hand-made solid (not hollow) and plumb gold.
Can I upgrade my piece and how does it work?
Yes, you can upgrade your chain and/or bracelet.
CMG Links customers who want to upgrade, will receive 100% of the GOLD value (not labor), as credit towards their new order. If you upgrade within 7 days* after receiving your product, full credit (including labor) will be applied to your new order, excluding any customization like engraving, diamonds, special lock, etc.
*In order to receive full credit, the product has to be in the same condition as to when it left our workshop. If the product is not in perfect condition, you will receive 100% of the GOLD value, not including labor, as credit.
How to care for your gold piece?
Want it to stay shining? Follow these steps to clean your piece!
Grab a bowl of warm water
Add some mild liquid dish washing detergent. (Dawn works best)
Grab a soft brush and scrub the jewelry lightly until you create suds.
Work the brush into crevices to clean it well.
Rinse with warm water until all soap residue is gone.
Take a soft cloth and polish lightly against the gold.
Remember avoid contact with bleach! Bleach erodes gold and leaves unsightly stains.
Perfume, cosmetics and hairspray also damage gold.
Always remember to take your piece off when you sleep and lay it flat to avoid any scratches.
